Three Months at The Wealthy Blogger
By Mike Hillyer | Related entries in UncategorizedWell, I actually missed the three month mark: The Wealthy Blogger turned three months old on the seventh. In that time we have had 78 posts and 288 comments. We’re seeing around 2000 page hits a day, and technorati reports 40 links from 25 sources.
Response has been good, with many of the incoming links being positive. There have been some less than glowing links, but you can’t please everyone. I hope this blog has been of use to its readers, and I hope we can keep being of use for some time to come.
I’m glad to say I have learned quite a bit in the last three months, and hopefully I have been able to pass along a few tidbits in the process.

Hm, no update on blog financials? After all, it’s about being _wealthy_, and AdSense TOS now says you can disclose income on aggregate:-)

Well sure Alex, why not?
The Wealthy Blogger has made $41 in the last three months from Adsense. At this rate we will be able to get a cashout at the 7 month mark.
Actually, the CPM numbers are quite good, but the site averages just under a click a day. We could probably optimize things a bit but I would rather focus what time I have on the posts and tools/design.

Yeah, I get “sexy girls and guys” banners on the side right now. When I got the CD and savings accounts banners, I was definitely more interested in exploring those.
