I thought I would throw in the bottom position to show that not all forays into the stock market are so glamourous. I’m just amazed I’m in the top five myself.

All in all things look good, I think at this point it is still anyone’s game, but the end of June deadline is fast approaching!

I think an interesting “post-game” article would be everyone’s strategy in the game… ie. we all write comments about it in the wrapup post.

I would like to see what would happen if everyone had to put up a REAL half million to start. Then, I’m sure, the results would be far different. ;-)

  3. indiana trealawney Says:

yes im indiana trealawney. i went from the #2 spot with a 21% return to the 10 or 11 spot id say with a slight negative return in ONE DAY. I have been maxing out on my margin allowance and basically buying or shorting volatile companies due to report earnings. I buy before the report and sell after. I have swung wildly in the rankings. This was expected, you could call my strategy the “volatility seeker” i guess. :p Im not a blogger though.

  4. Alex Moskalyuk Says:

I’ve made some good ROI on shorting the stocks that were leaders in % gain for the day - there’s always some correction or more players jumping in to cash in afterwards. However, recently a buy that happened to go down a bit, pulled my ROI down.

I was only playing before Indiana, just because you were poking at me on my blog when I was 2nd to last. :)

  6. indiana trealawney Says:

no prob jim its all in good fun. I got a slight positive return today. Not much going on tomorrow, i need somemore volatility to trade…

  7. jim Says:

    Congrats to winner in washington

  8. Felix Says:

Thanks Jim. This competition was certainly a roller-coaster ride for me, particularly the final week. I enjoyed competing with investors like you and others.

Felix, if you’re winner, I almost had you. :) It was a good contest, I had a lot fun.
